Coronavirus: Lagos government converts stadium to isolation centre

Following the confirmation of cases of the pandemic coronavirus in Lagos, the state government has converted stadium to isolation centre in readiness for the expected spike in COVID-19 cases. Legit.ng reports that this was made known on Thursday, March 26, by a Twitter user, CBN Gov Akinsola AK on his twitter handle @cbngov_akin1. He commended the state government for its proactive measures in containing the spread of deadly diseases among the residents of the state.
He said: Lagos state government converts stadium to isolation centre in readiness for the expected spike in #COVID-19 cases. “Moments of crisis reveal who leaders are. You have to respect some of us who campaigned and voted for Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Obafemi Hamzat. Thumbs up. This is not audio.”
