JAMB offers 200000 candidates Admission | Candidates asked to accept or reject admission before 16th october, 2018.
The joint admissions and matriculation board JAMB has stated that it has offered more than 200000 candidates admission into the various tertiary institutions in the country for the 2018/2019 academic session.
The nation’s foremost examination body stated this on its official website a couple of hours ago. According to the JAMB officials and JAMB registrar, through The Head, Media and Information of the JAMB, Mr. Fabian Benjamin said this on Sunday, October 7, 2018 in Lagos while speaking with reporters from the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
According to Mr. Fabian, the exercise is done through the Central Admission Process (CAP), an automated process to eliminate all human interferences and curb some sorts of malpractice and irregularities.
In the words of Mr. Fabian, “We have so far been able to offer no fewer than 200,000 first choice admissions to candidates all over the country.
200000 candidates admission beneficiaries to accept or decline on or before?
” To this effect, we therefore urging candidates to go to our site and check their admission status and those who have been meritoriously offered such admission should quickly indicate by accepting and printing such offer or rejecting it, as failure to do so will automatically mean the candidate is no longer interested after the said date.
“And the board may see all such offers as rejected and would have no option than to mop them up and give it to other interested candidates. A word has always been enough for the wise.
Mr Fabian Benjamin also stressed emphatically that “Candidates are to accept or reject all offers not later than Oct.16 as that is when all offers of admissions of first choice will close, never to open again.
“After that, we are going to commence admission exercise for the second choice of candidates,” Mr Benjamin concluded.
On this note, SCHOOL PLUS CAREER is advising all candidates to rush now and check their names on the admission list and accept accordingly if offered admission.
